Had a quick check myself and yep, it was phelps & the Westboro church ..

That's the irony in all the hatred towards other's who supposedly sin based upon their notions of what a sin is and what god is ..

The anger, the distaste, the abusive expression that they have seems to be okay with their God

When you have fanatical behaviour there is no talking reason with them ..

It's the bull and the red flag scenario, there is a focus and there is no snapping them out of it .. Brainwashing, conditioning, and mental health issues are a dangerous mixture .

I suppose if we dissect the question and the origins of both ego and Satan it will be a mixture of beliefs depending on what they are .. ..

In religious circles there is at first a belief and then it is believed by the masses .

Of course what can be written and what can be interpreted as that can vary immensely .

Kinda like Chinese whisper's taken out of context

If one really is sound minded then there would be no hesitation to contemplate upon one's beliefs and the origin of them .

Many fanatics wouldn't honestly contemplate upon their beliefs in a open minded way ..

I remember having a chat with a religious door knocker some years ago, it was his way or the highway lol ..

There's no talking reason .. so when you have a fanatic screaming at you saying you are the devil himself for loving another man or woman then same applies ..

There can never be reasoning ..
