the truth is hidden in things and has to be sought out
where humans err is when they think they have the truth and abandon the search for it, possessing it only partially
into this gap appears all the 'experts' to tell you what to believe and what truth is
the parables point toward the truth
I will give you an example. in Christianity you are not supposed to do any 'works' such as search for truth, just believe. well, why then is there a whole host of preachers, books and so on expounding on what truth is? it is because as I said, the truth is hidden in things so people work to know it better, as this is the natural thing to do. these folk claim to possess the truth, do they?
it is good to recognise the truth in others
it is also good to find it for yourself
