Hi Linen, I have a new email account now, but I still have a G mail account linked to a few things, SF being one. Anyway. I just went to sign in, and it's asking for my phone number as I'm apparently signing in from a new device, which I'm not. So now, give them my phone number, or no access to that email. I'm gonna have to lose access I think, as I don't want to give it over. Fakebook has pestered me in the past as well. I've still got access to that for now anyway.

Josephine give them a fake phone number and see if it goes through. I've done that in the past and it has worked.

That's a good idea. I'll keep it in mind. I managed to sign in on my tablet in the end without having to put a number in, then it went through ok on my laptop. If I hadn't had my tablet I'd have been locked out of the email account, as well as Youtube. I couldn't even use YT signed out as there was a banner over the page. I'll see how things go.
I sorted out a new email account recently. Proton mail. I tried Tutanota but couldn't get on with it. Did you have any luck? I think I remember you mentioning it on another thread.

I still use my yahoo account for email. I've just been with them for so long it's hard to part with them. I'll give it some thought.
I did change my search engine to Duck Duck Go and have been very happy with it.

Yeah, I don't know if there's an easy way to notify and transfer contacts to new email account either. I've still got two other email accounts. But as I'm getting any new contacts I'll add them to Proton instead.
I'm happy with Duck Duck Go too. Although I did notice some one saying the other day that it's still censored somewhat. Arghhh! Are you able to fix Duck Duck Go as your default search engine?
