Another insight into Satan.
I have had another insight into how Satan's mind works. He is telling God "God is rich and I am poor!" How can anyone deny it? Surely Satan is spiritually poor. He fell from grace. How poor is that?
The multitudes of unspiritual people upon the earth chime in. "Where is God for us?" We cannot reach Him without His intervention. It is sort of like a catch 22. If you are full of ego how can you even have notions of God? Therefore you are poor, like Satan.
It emphasises the point that God is the most well off out of all of us. And without His intervention we remain lost. People say it us up to us to seek out God. But with no notions of God how can anyone even do that?

Look at this picture and try to imagine that Satan is saying to Christ...."Look you are rich, but I am poor."

If you do not believe in the mythical being called Satan then consider the symbolism that Satan represents. Satan could be a symbol for the profane and unholy.

There is a danger in personifying Satan. If we do that we construct a scapegoat to account for our shortcomings. Somebody to blame other than ourselves. Christians should be very careful in this regard. The same logic that convinces them that God lives within them could also be used to assert that the domicile of Satan can also be within us……
