Just finished watching a news interview where an American army general compares the way children are treated to a concentration camp.
And not some crackpot news programme that nobody has heard of but one of the top mainstream outlets.
It was the same thing I realised last week but didn't say it to anyone because I know nobody is listening. It's better to let evil rule supreme than challenge it in a moral vacuum.

Life is good. We got irrigation water today, all my chores are done, duckies are enjoying their swimming and playing water and I'm on my second cup of coffee.

It is utterly frustrating to see any injustice and being unable to do anything against it (without using violence, that is, as violence just feels wrong... for me, at least... call me naive or an idiot if you wish, but I think that violence or judging others is utterly wrong, and I also think that blaming any individual for what ever is wrong, too).
You can speak your mind, though. When ever you wish to do so.
And you can give others an example of how to do it better, and be it on a small scope. Like, with your family, friends and neighbors.

They learn their lesson, sooner or later, at least.
I just wish that their learning could go without so much suffering of others.
Sometimes, weltschmerz is keeping me from just living my live and learn and grow myself. Throughout millenniums of history, there has been no real improvement when it comes to more love and peace on this planet.
I know that I should do what I suggested to you and also focus on the positive.
Easier said than done, though, sometimes.

Realizing that the sensation in my spirit, comes from a day spent with people - family, my most loved ones - and not having been asked a n y t h i n g about me, how I am, what I think. The sensation that I am not important, that they are genuinely not curious.
It's weird. All I've wanted to learn was how to be present for the people I care about.
And today, I've learnt what the opposite feels like. I've hardly had a second's rest, "mommy, mommy!", plates, wheres the water... And the moments that we did have in proper connection, where far off over in another's sphere.
I feel... Empty. Not sad. Not insulted. Not protesting. I will not try and change it, or then. But I am thinking that I will continue to build up my own family, of friends who can be present w i t h me, that we do it together.
Thinking of the people that stand out in my mind as people with an open heart and a joy for life ��
