Philosophy

I was never interested in this subject and i'm still uncertain know. some time

again before the pandemic started i went to an open circle group it was like a

more private group which took place in an old house which had a large living

room at the front and back a kitchen and a large conservatory with a run

down back garden but nice, although i was only there for a very short time

due toi the nature of the buses running thought that area stopping early. my

introduction was via OM chanting sessions which can be quit powerful if

there's enough people taking part. There was and elderly lady that lived

there her late husband was a clairvoyant. i had been to several SNP groups

to which i did not fit in because one thing or another i went to this other

group it was expensive but the first night i was there i felt relaxed and more

calm in my inner self then usual but we did not do any circle work as they

said it varies as the meetings were several times a week they did different

things, Philosophy tonight my stomach sunk i knew nothing about this

subject or had any interest in it what's so ever the very thought of it made

my teeth grind the others had been home work to come up with a piece this

so called philosophy weathered copied or there own work, it got to my turn

they said come on Brian i said i don't know what to do so one of the guys

gave me a book, i said look if it don't come out right, i then stopped my

complaining as she had me a very old book on so i flipped through the pages

and stopped at a certain point turned a few more pages looked at writing and

started reading i was amazed the words just seemed to just flow it did not

seem hard for me although i did not understand its meaning i just seemed to

let go maybe my soul understood and appreciated it more it was probably

also that we accepted one another i did not sense anything on towards me i

even had a chat with one of the ladies who had similar experiences as me as

i was growing up noticing things that most people who run on total logic

don't notice. i suddenly felt part of a group that i would fit in even though it was expensive

Hi, I read that easily. What is SNP?
Sounds like you found nice people...Expensive was a surprise to me.
What is their basic belief if I may ask? Don't have to say.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I get the same inner sense of feeling when I read some books that are on dense subjects yet formal and flowing. First a sense of wonder and curiosity, the yearning to understand what exactly is being said. The consistency of following through, reading an entire book without taking too many notes, to which my notes are either copies/highlights, or interpretations in my own words.

It's a journey and a development of inner knowing, it can bring up all kinds of emotions. The feeling may have been "I've been missing out". It's almost bothersome because if you're a passionate one, there are tons of people out their also speculating on the same intuitions you have had. And it may feel like people are ahead of you, but with time we can come to know the same things as others, one's who we even look up to. It's a type of honor system. Between friends, communities and colleagues.
