why do you believe in astrology?

I use it as a crutch to help me understand myself and others. And it's fun to think the sky has meanings and is governed by some energy.

I keep having things lining up like the planets are aligned with time and numbers and other things as well ~

it seems like there is something greater at work here than just earthly things ~ I don't see why astrology wouldn't fit into it all~

I have recently been looking into Chinese astrology ~ but I have gone to several different sites and found conflicting information ~ which is discouraging ~

different sites list different lucky numbers and compatibility matches ~ then I looked at the regular zodiac and found different lucky numbers ~ all of the man made info isn't adding up ~ as they have not all got their stories straight ~

but I do believe in the bigger picture

In my honest opinion I believe that the Planets and when they are aligned do influence us, you know the saying; " It's a Full Moon out" well that affects animals it seems. I honestly believe that the time of birth, month, shape who we are not just our parents and environment. I want to delve more into Astrology to learn more about myself and a person is just more than their Sun Sign. I also would like to get into learning about Numerology as well and find out my personality number and life path number.

EDIT: Not Everyone believes in certain things and that is okay. so If people do not believe in Astrology and think it is pseudo that is what their beliefs are.
