What is it with those cats?

Hii everyone,

Everyone is constantly talking about cats and everyone has something going on with cats. Just saying.

Much kindness,

When you have cats, you want to talk about them. I guess.

cats are always up to something and if you have them as pets you get attached to them and care for them dearly and so you talk about them I gather just like you would talk about someone else you care about :)

I'm thinking you have never had one? If you did and you saw how special they are...you might not be asking.
I have one that is a spiritual inspiration.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.

Very true. If you have a cat in your life and pay attention to them, they're like furry little Buddha's with tails. They know how to live life to its fullest. Even if it's just chasing the sunny spot on the living room rug so they can continue their nap in the sun.

Cats are very social creatures, consider getting two. And there are always cats looking to be adopted at shelters.

Yeah. we say that. And then we end up taking in a stray. I have two cats that have come back to me. One has come back to me twice already. It appears that they are bonded to me and will always be with me. I'm still waiting on our Bounder to come back. I think he was waiting for Patches to cross over so they could come back together. I think he is finally trying to sync everything and I'm just waiting for us to find each other. The first time, when he passed over as Augie, it took him 4 years. Then one weekend, I felt we just HAD to get our 4 y/o daughter a kitten. She was harassing the big cats (Max and Salem) because she wanted to pick them up and hold them and they were just too big. But that weekend I was an obsessed woman. The kid and her dad went to Petsmart but they were too late and the kitten adoption day was over. And on Sunday there was only one classified ad for kittens. We went to take a look and we let her pick the kitten.

A few years later, I was standing in front of the bathroom mirror looking at my face and down at the bottom I see a blond tail saunter in. I say "Hi Max" and turn around to give him some cuddles. It wasn't Max, my blondish tabby, but Bounder my black and white Tuxedo. When he was Augie, he was a buff and white cat. Whenever I would look at him and look into his eyes, I always felt he had a secret to tell me. That was it. My daughter still insists that he's HER CAT! lol. But ever the gentleman he spread the love. Even to my husband who terrified him when he was Augie. I'm glad the two of them got to make up and be friends. I miss my Boo boy. I've got a houseful lf cats and I love 'em all but I miss him. He was my first cat. It just occurred to me that, all total through both lives we've had 34 years together.
