So, the actual truth is you began with the angelic.

There is a greater reality and truth involved with the timeless, and eternity.

Well, when they are attacking me as in self defense or self protection.
But otherwise, no...I get your point.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

There is a reason and justification for anything in creation.
If we widen our perspective the concept of sin will fall apart.

No experience but visualising this is enough to know what my response would be.

I know nothing about your Father except for what you have written but I can see examples of a Man who definitely resorted to using cruel actions.

Was He a bad person and a sinner is another question .....

Your father was as much a sinner as an earthquake that takes a million lives. You stood by and watch him kick your brother. If only we would all do the same: stand by and watch injustice without willfully causing hurt to the unjust. Our world would be a better place.

Break the karma of violence. Turn the other cheek. Watch the child getting kicked down the road without any impulse to respond. It's not easy to resist the urging of the Devil within summoning demons of violence to mete out social justice.

Ayard415,

By the same logic….letting violence run its course…..one would also offer no medical assistance to the injured….just let it happen with all its consequences….consider refining your thinking…..
