I'm a cheeseburger with fries... Not exactly divine, but it keeps me out of those mental wards.

I see the pigs and dogs as the ignorant who trample over the truth, the truth that you, not you as your mind body organism, or carnal self, but you as the Christ, if you cannot see this then you are blind to the truth, you are deaf to the the truth, its time for you to be healed in spirit, and then take up your bed and walk, you have laid on your bed of false teachings for too long.

The one's that you find in these wards are the one's who think that they are Jesus the man, or God, they are confused, they don't realize that its not just them, but all are Christ.

Very true, Tee Hee has crossed the wires on that one a bit.

Speaking of Tee Hee; isn't he the oriental looking gentleman who used to go by the name of Custard Hands or some such thing?

I think it's something not just Christians are moving towards but all people. We're slowly over time gaining love for ourselves, shown in how different parts of the world are becoming less barbaric and more humane. Ideas are changing, we're learning that human life is valuable. The human race has been changing considerably in a relatively short period of time, so the future will look much different than it is today. I believe that soon science will merge with spirituality, and when that happens we'll start to advance very quickly.

I think that the church has been innovative, and current trends are not necessarily new. For example, in the early church people who did not fully and whole heartedly convert, brought their traditions and teaching into the church. The same can be said in the current post-modern trend, which has only been said to have developed in the last few hundred years. As a whole though, the church has experienced division, ever since the first church in the book of acts, where, inequity was found in doors. The apostles had confronted the issues between Hebraic and Grecian Jews, you can refer to the Scriptures in chapter seven if memory serves correctly, and the result were additional disciples to properly distribute and care for the needs of church members.

Applied to the current trend of thinking, there's a difference between compromise of orthodox teaching, and other worldly ideas. The church must be on guard full time, yet not be opposed to forward progress and thinking. Science and religion compliment each other, they don't necessarily oppose each other. While one is the interpretation of nature, the other is the interpretation of Scripture. Scripture and nature do not conflict one another, actually they compliment one another. If anything though, one can take backward steps in using science in the wrong way, jeopardizing their moral and ethical foundations. God's command to subdue the world can be fulfilled in medical science, in the battle against disease and other life threatening illnesses. Its all the perspective one takes.....

Yes I totally agree my friend, keep spreading the good news, I can see the light coming towards all of us, even to the religious.
