The Hobbit.
Great news for all fans of J.R.R. Tolkiens book The Hobbit.
The first of the 2 films based on The Hobbit book, will start shooting in February 2011 .... again, in New Zealand .... Yay !! 
Common sense prevails all round, and we now can look forward to the adventures of Bilbo Baggins et al on the silver screen 
These films need to be shot in New Zealand in my humble (but slightly biased !!) opinion ....
The Lord Of The Rings proved this .... a perfect landscape, mirroring Tolkiens vision of "Middle Earth".
Can't wait !! ..........

It is very exciting and I'm so pleased that its being filmed in New Zealand. Its the perfect place. Looking forward to the finished story |

Yay - glad they got it all sorted out - it would be a shame to film it somewhere else. Can't wait to see it!!

New Zealand is the best place for The Hobbit to be filmed....not that I'm biased or anything! he, he, he
I'm really looking forward to this movie, I was a massive Hobbit and Lord of the Rings fan when I was a kid - read the books so many times.
Perhaps I should audition to be a hobbit - finally my lack of height and hairy toes  could come in handy.  and that's a wrap! |

You and my missus both !!
She always says she would have loved to be an Elf in Lord Of The Rings, like Arwen (especially if she got some smoochies with Vigo Mortensen !!) ... but lacking in the height department, she would have had to settle for being a Hobbit ....  and settle for a Took or somesuch !! .............
