How on earth do they run up a 40ft plus wall in under 5 seconds ?

The Dutch men won the hockey gold. Netherlands in 9th place on the medal table, with 23 medals. Don't wanna brag but it's impressive to be in 9th place considering many other countries have a much bigger pool of athletes.
Australia in 3rd place (with a population of 23 million) also shows they're a very sporty nation.
China and US make the top 2 but everyone knew that!

The Netherlands got off to a slow start but they have been very impressive these last few days, and as you say, Australia doing really well .
GB started quite well but seems to have gone off the boil a bit.

Femke Bol didn't win her race, and she was visibly upset. She was a big favourite to win the gold but somehow she ended up in third place. Such a nice person, we all wanted her to win.

It's sad isn't it when the expected favourite doesn't win ?
We have just won a gold on the boulder climbing walls !!!
I still don't get how they do it with only their fingertips and toes !

Oh heck....
And after a year of Spain winning everything , they go and win gold in the Paris Olympics in football LOL...

They've done so since 2000, when they had three Spanish clubs in the Champions League semi's. Since then it's been trophy after trophy, even for the likes of Villarreal and even a Spanish side this summer with players from Sociedad.
It is the Spanish century in football.

Another great evening of athletics. I've really enjoyed watching these sports. 
OMG... on the medal table we are 3rd of Europe... that's incredible!
