I was on another forum and someone was belittling the card game 'snap' it was a great game how we used to play it and more like a sport-usualy two players-the two halves of the pack were dealt into a small centre circle and your snapping hands(usually the left) had to be kept behind a line which was about an arms length from the circle .(so two arms lengths seperated the players) you had to turn each card over in the circle with your right hand, which you weren't allowed to snap with,it wasn't such a good game how most played it in general.

Redbull are certainly the favorites and Max Verstappen was waaay quickest in FP-1 so you can kinda seeing where that's going!

That being said both Mercedes and Aston Martin will be near the front too, both of which are bringing upgrades to there car this weekend.

Yes.. everything/ everyone has their "time".... I guess you are probably right.
It's like anything else in the sporting world , F1, tennis, football, snooker .... The best in their field have a few years of glory and being top to the point it goes beyond "predicable" , but life at the top in many sports is short lived so maybe they need that glory for a few years to compensate that their career might be over by the time they are only 30 odd.

Short lived? A few years? Look at Messi, he's been the best player since 2008/2009. Won the biggest trophy of his career only a few months back. But he's exceptional. Although I've noticed, and it's probably thanks to modern tech and nutrition, many great players are able to extend great years well into their deep 30s: C.Ronaldo, Lewandowski, Benzema, Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva, Pepe, Modric.

20 years ago you were considered OLD as a player when you got 30...

Elsewhere, Lewis Hamilton has been good for a long time. Some other F1 drivers, Alonso for example. Elsewhere, Valentino Rossi, Federer, Djokovic.

I know Altair.... But the rest of the world have to work until they are 67 ( soon to be 70) before they can retire ( and we don't earn anything near what they do LOL )...

Yes, it was years in the making with an ageing population. We can't keep up the welfare state if a huge chunk of the population is retiring. So people that are able to work in their 60s may as well work a few more years.

It's a bit of a puzzle why politicians push for longer years in school and also pay pensioner three times the rate for younger people in the same position, they supposed to be a burden yet three times as much just to win the votes I presume.
