Again, different nations have different practices. But always, the Great Earth Mother takes us back into her body to cradle our remains with love and tenderness, whether our remains are in one piece or in ashes.
Me, I want to be cremated ... there is something so cleansing about Fire to me ... clean my vessel, put me back in my mother's cradle, with my Pipe and my Eagle Feather and my Drum ... those come with me.
