Cheerful Orange
Pure essential oil of Blood Orange is that exact recipe for a bright, uplifting cheerful energy that matches the season of spring.
I love sniffing some blood orange oils when I need an extra smile.
Try it! It's even more sweet and fragrant than a single fruit. :)
For a surprisingly delightful blend, mix essential oils Jasmine Sambac (3 parts) with Blood Orange (2 parts) in a carrier oil of your choice. It's breathtaking.

I've never seen "blood orange" essential oil for sale. Where did you finding this? Was it from a reputable vendor that has strict quality controls to test for adulteration? Is it any different aroma-wise from regular Citrus sinensis EO?

Neat Madein! What an interesting choice of oils. I bet it's very fresh. I'll have to try blending those sometime, thanks!
Hi Quintessence~
Yes, blood orange essential oil is everywhere, just do some searching.
The difference is its origin is Italy and comes from cold pressed blood oranges.
What you call 'regular' Citrus Sinensus is sweet orange essential oil, pressed from oranges usually originating from the USA. Aromatically, blood orange is more intense and deep than a sweet orange.
For blood orange I buy it from a local Italian aromatherapist, never online.
Perhaps there is someone near you.~

It must be that the main vendors that sell here that I trust do not carry it and so I have not come across it. Neither Aura Cacia or Young Living carry it, and I haven't seen it from the less reputable manufacturers I know of either. Perhaps it isn't widely available in the states yet? I may have to keep an eye out for it to add it to my collection of a few dozen EOs.

just a thought Quintessence ~ even if the local vendors you shop with, don't carry this particular oil, maybe they could special order it , if you ask them ? Maybe they haven't had many requests for this and so don't carry it like they do some of the more regular, or well known oils.
