Planning for reiki 2nd level
Dear all
Need a help :-)
I have attuned with reiki 1st level 4 months ago and successfully completed my 21days cleansing period.
But from last 2months I have not practiced continuously. But now I want to go for 2nd level.
I want to know how do I prepared myself before my second attunement.
Hope to see your response.
Thank you so much:-)

To be honest you need to gain experience at the first level on a regular basis.. You cannot run before you walk. Its not a magic wand, generally you should Reiki yourself every night before you go to sleep, reiki your plants, your garden your food even... Don't be n a rush, consolidate and practice and give it a lot longer...Its not a race, you owe it to the subjects you try to heal to do the best for them... Maybe record case studies, keep a healing book.. Surely you learned this on your course??

it all depends on the teacher and your spiritual development. in the program i follow, one can go from reiki tummo 1 to reiki tummo 2 the very next day, but needs 21 days for reiki tummo 3. with that said, even if a person is capable to go from 1 to 2 in the path i follow, some people do not feel ready for it.
you really should make the effort to practice because it helps with the cleansing process. if a person doesn't make the effort to practice daily or has done a half-hearted quality of the practice, then it's best to wait it out. you want to make sure you are ready for the next level because cleansing can be quite strong.
also, i find that some people need time to catch up to the adjustments. your spirit has changed, but the rest of your consciousness levels are still adjusting to the new changes.
the final thing i find is that 'chasing' spiritual growth is never good either. you should go because you feel in your heart the need to go. You don't go because you want to be better at what you do, but you go because it makes you happy to go -even if the cleansing can be a bit challenging.
take it slow when you must, but if it feel right for you, go.
this has been my experience.

Devine Healer, I think you are on the right path. Do practise as the more you do, the better but take the time to consolidate your experience and I may say... Always thank your Guides and Healers for their help and acknowledge that you are the channel... I wish you every good experience and success...
Reiki changes you, for the better, it changes what you feel, your opinions, what you put into your body, even what kind of movies and tv programs you watch..
I was told this by my Reiki Master and I didn't think it would do that, but it did exactly that and I am so much a better person for it...
It is sooo worth doing and doing it well...

Anyone following the idea of Reiki would do well to research it's background and to learn about Mikao Usui and what he did and did not do. There are no such things as attunements nor any use of symbols. The entire Western idea of what Reiki is and what can be done with it was begun by a Hawaiian woman who studied under one of Mikao Usui's original students. Her name is Mrs. Hawayo Takata, and it was HER that began charging outrageous amounts of money for procedures that are unable to approach accomplishing what is claimed. In the beginning, what are now called "attunements" were simply a way that Mikao Usui would give his students an energetic "push", the intent of which was to help them to achieve the next level of realization. By the way, he also did not charge the outrageous amounts of money that are so often charged and there were no symbols used at all. None of this is meant to say that that energy field does not exist, but has been called Chi for centuries...Wilhelm Reich, a student of Sigmund Freud, discovered and photographed this blue colored energy field mush resembling the aura, and yet distinctly different. He named it Orgone. And he was abused by the US government in the mid 1950's and all of his books burned, the man died in prison.
Thus i do not suggest that Reiki is pointless based on the existence of Chi, but rather that the Western traditions, if they can even be called such, are complete deceptions, proven by the vast amounts charged for them. This may ruffle a few feathers, but it is true nonetheless and can be independently verified by anyone.
The methods taught by Mrs. Takata (deceased in 1980) are a complete departure from those taught by Mikao Usui.

Yes I have heard a lot of that before.. But not everyone charges sky high costs.. I have been in practice for over 14 years now and I can say hand on heart, I have never charged anyone so far... I have sufficient funds for my needs and so i do not need to charge to give reiki, unkess it s hands on etc. Even then I am very amenable. Particularly as I have other therapies to offer.
My pm box is quite busy with requests and feed back.. In fact I had to delete a lot today to make room.
