It doesnt mention names either spot. But God does it all through Jesus( Michael) and holy spirit. I dont think the angel of death was Jesus.
Jesus came and shared Gods loving side with us. How he is to those who obey him( for our own benefit) But at Har-mageddon, Jesus will show Gods righteous war side to this earth. To those who are being mislead into standing in opposition to God and his king-- Not by making it look bad but just the opposite, by making it look good to the mortal heart they stand in opposition. The image of the beast looks good to the mortal heart.

The new heavens and new earth is just a new system of things. Gods kingdom rule, over all creation forever, No more satan influences. At the end of 1000 year reign-satan is loosed for a little while, some follow him into the lake of fire( eternal destruction)-So the kingdom doesnt have 100% control at that point, Until Satan is destroyed.

The Bible has always implied where those 'other' people' will 'go'. Jesus emphasized that point. As the main theme deals about the Kingdom, these 'other people' would become subjects to that Kingdom.

144,000 are given the heavenly hope. To rule as kings and priests alongside Jesus( first seperating the sheep and goats and judging.
The great multitude is not promised heaven any where in the bible. They are to stand before the throne( Gods rulership)- No matter where one stands( not including the abyss) at that point it will be before Gods throne. It will be the only rulership( Daniel 2:44)-- It will be just as Jesus promised to them--Matt 5:5-- The meek will inherit the earth--These are the great multitude.
