Most First Nation people did not pray to an singular entity such as a God. When I pray, I pray to all there is.

Open your heart and soul to the Great Spirit
All life is sacred,treat all beings with respect

Speak the truth,but only of the good in others
Follow the rythms of nature ,rise and retire with the sun
Enjoy lifes journey but leave no tracks

I saw a STATEMENT the other day by an American Indian ,not sure of thier name,it said;

WE ARE HERE TO TEND THE GARDEN.

wow, I enjoyed the music posted in this thread very much...also the wisdom words of the ancient ones.

I have lived lives as a Native American both male and female, and feel deeply connected to indigenous cultures that value mother earth and truly respect her bounty. In my soul I don't recognize 'man made' borders, or treaties made from lack of knowledge and pure heart.

This is one of my favorites, it speaks of what I've learned:

Stand still.
The trees ahead and the bushes beside you
Are not lost.
Wherever you are is called Here,
And you must treat it as a powerful stranger,
Must ask permission to know it and be known.
The forest breathes. Listen. It answers,

This morning I was feeling really stuck and the I was led after prayer to do american Indian chanting ,Gosh it is so tranformative it reaches you on the level

of spirit ,I explain a page back on how to do it , I was really needing the high notes for some time and it helped to lift me out of the lowness I was feeling ,I still

acknowledged the low with low tones intermittertently , and it seems to like need that as it moves it to the higher vibration and then into the middle ,although Im

staying a bit high today HIYA HIYA HIYA HEYA HIYA HIYA but then even as I sit here knowing that high all the time will result in bipolar not always but I need to be

aware and so I go low tone there is endelible deep

healing there in the this Incredibly Amazing Spiritual Practice......So Balancing.
