How to let go?

Hello everyone. I have been trying on and off to astral project for some years. The problem is that I don't seem to be able to make that last "stage" in order to enter into the astral. I have no problem visualizing myself in my room and sometimes I even get a feeling that I'm half-way out of body. Or at least it feels that way. I get a different view and suddenly I feel very small compared to my surroundings, maybe this is a sign that I'm almost there? But what I am wondering if is there any tips on how to actually get into the astral? I keep focusing on my breathing and also focusing on a single point in my room while visualizing. So if there is some techniques that have worked for you, hope you can be so kind and share them with me!

The only thing that have helped me come very close to astral projection ( and I did try tons of things ) and actually leave the body for few moments other than a sudden spiritual experience was and is resting in awareness, being aware of being aware - it is deep and the more you rest in awareness, the stiller you are. At one point your entire being may vibrate and hear what people call the OM sound.

You are very close to ap. When you feel you are close to ap you need to stop focusing on your breathing. I have focused on my breathing and it always fails when I am close to ap. Focusing on a single point is fine. When I stop focusing on my breathing and body I can ap.

Hi @L1GHT to me it sounds like you are doing something entirely different than AP. Do you have any animals in your bedroom or bugs? It sounds like you shifted a small part of your conscious or light body over to something smaller for temporary. Like you possessed something. Pretty neat actually. Now try to do it and not attach to anything, to project. And from there you can AP.

ns were still right, I project out of my body again, my light body was glowing very white, like the moon. So white that no darkness could enter or escape. As I attempted to fly to the moon, I was held back. By at least two very powerful beings, at least. I could not I see them; I was too close to my physical body, and it causes distortion. The two beings calmed me down, and removed my desire to project to the moon, I was in peace. Their energy signatures were similar if not identical to my guardian angels or guides.
