Saturn Transits

Anyone have any experience with saturn transits? I just went through my first hit of saturn square moon and now have saturn conjunct sun. It has not been fun. Lol.

Back in June 2008 Saturn was exactly conjunct my Pluto (death and transformation) in the 8th house (again, death, rebirth, transformation, inheritances). This was when my mother died.

In January 2015 Saturn was exactly conjunct my Jupiter in Sagittarius, exactly square to my Pluto. This was when my father died.

In July 2015 Saturn was still conjunct my Jupiter and square to my Pluto. This was when my sister died.

Despite this I have a fondness for Saturn, which sometimes gets a bad press. Yes, Saturn may be associated with restriction and limitation but for me it is also the planet of learning, wisdom and growth, manifesting on the Earth plane. Incidentally, Saturn rules my natal chart - I don't know if this is significant.

I'm sorry to hear that iamthat. That sounds absolutely horrible.

My saturn/moon and saturn/sun transits have not resulted in death. As soon as the saturn/moon transit started, my older brother started having heart problems. He was supposed to have heart surgery but the surgeon said he is not healthy enough to have the surgery. My parents travelled across Canada to take care of my brother and my pets are in a kennel and are not eating and are throwing up bile because they are so scared.

I've had a lot of other things happen during these transits, but these are the major things. Saturn is transiting my 4th house.

Thank you, but I am actually grateful for how it all happened. My parents passed after short illnesses - there are far worse ways to go. My sister had been deteriorating for many years and had no quality of life, so her passing was a relief in many ways.

But yes, Saturn pushes things to come into physical manifestation, which is why it can be so difficult but also why it can be so beneficial.
