Blue - purple opal Mexico
My blue opal from Mexico came in yesterday!
When searching for one I found out they're often called purple opal from Mexico or Morado opal.
But then there are also sellers that state "Morado opal" when it's tiffany stone.
Others call it Violet Flame opal.
So quite confusing.
It was very difficult to find it to begin with, although there are a few US sellers on Etsy that have it.
Other than that it seems very hard to come by: most shops don't have it at all.
So I was very happy to find a somewhat larger tumble in the end!
It is indeed a purple/blue in white.
It should connect the heart and the 3rd eye and aid loving calm communication, also good for the vocal chords and throat. (That are just a few things it does)
I wore it on my Heart last night, got a phone call from my mother. Usually my energy goes all over the place when talking to her, this time I felt myself remaining calm, not that fast energy, but nice and slow. It felt so good!
I put it under my pillow last night, and I slept like a log!
Sometimes I don't fall asleep easily (ever since peri-menopause) but I was 'out' real fast!
A seller on Etsy that had a description of the stone said she calls it her 'letting go' stone.
That's what made me think it could be a very good crystal for sleep. Clearly it worked, hihi.
