Our forests lend, a greater view
Before man came and changed its glue
Above the ground he sees his need
To cut and drive away the seed
Never wondering what would become
Of all those trees, that die as one
Every root entangled deep
Thriving, growing, allowing each
To thrive and pattern itself alive
The natural system in divide
Building, creating in everyway
Death a natural cause each day
Man as nature took control
Fed the forests with his cold
Cold in need in everyway
Darkness bringing light to day
Where no longer in the depths he sees
Of forests calm and winter's deep
A cold and damp and darkened place
He now warm, ignites his feet
To walk and take so much more for all
Every tree that ever falls
Our darkness, coldness comes alive
In every way of forest divide
Ushered in by mans hands untold
The forest roots, the story untold
Where entanglments once kept alive
Creating growth abundantly high
Now become a high of sorts
Lost without the roots of course
Simply immersed in human hands
Not natures heart and natures plan
