Doesn’t suffering all come from the mind.
I mean if you didn’t have the thought (good or bad) then the suffering attached to that thought wouldn’t exist. Then the only thing that is happening is an action.
Goodness or badness is just our way of labelling things that we see from our own perspective. What’s bad to some, is good to others. IMO
Just kinda looking at it from another angle. I’m not saying I am right.

Redchic12,
What you envisage seems to be a robotic or zombie like existence. In Christian thought one must conclude that the world owes its existence to God(love). Without love suffering would not exist.

Yes Red I agree, everything comes from the mind.
Regarding good/ bad... they are just labels which we attach to what we like or dislike. Imo..

That might depend on whether we have a soul. Or actually are a soul. Or what about a broken heart?

Isn't a broken heart a metaphor for intense emotional stress or pain, emotions come from the mind/brain. Imo.....

Suffering exists with or without love, as long as we live/reside in a body there's physical/mental suffering which comes from our minds...
Pain is inevitable in life, but suffering is optional. Imo.

Honza - or anyone...Were you thinking God and consciousness were one and the same?
Btw, I just noticed this was in Christianity ...now it's in General beliefs.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.
