Age reversal?

I was watching Unexplained on the History channel today and heard something about a trial in a life extension system, but missed part of it. Paul Hynek was involved in a trial, so I did an internet search for that and found some interesting links. It has something to do with reversing thymus involution with growth hormones. There's some websites that try to sell it so I'm not posting those since they're commercial websites. I found some articles about it.

First hint that body’s ‘biological age’ can be reversed

TRIIM trial to target thymus
L. Bryan Ray
Thanks to the demographic transition, aging human bodies are an increasing liability for health and social systems. The risk of many age-related diseases could be reduced by thymus regeneration to improve immunological protection. In the thymus regeneration, immunorestoration, and insulin mitigation (TRIIM) trial, Fahy et al. developed a method to promote thymus function and reverse immunosenescence aging markers in nine men aged 51 to 65 years. The men were treated with recombinant human growth hormone as well as two drugs (dehydroepiandrosterone and metformin) that are used to prevent hyperinsulinemia and the diabetogenic effects of growth hormone. Effects of treatment were measured on immune cells, cytokines, and epigenetic clocks, which monitor changes in DNA methylation and indicate biological age (as distinct from chronological age). Immunological measures improved in the treated men, and epigenetic age regressed by 1.5 years after 1 year of treatment. Larger studies are required to verify the findings.

I don't know about reversing, but I've been taking DHEA for over 20 yrs, HGH Homeopathic Gel in my skin for close to 2 yrs, Melatonin for a number of years and Vit D since 2006, these 4 are hormones and I'm slowing down aging but not reversing.

It is good that you are slowing down on your aging jaminhealth. I do not think you can reverse your age. I have read people have operations to make themselves look younger. I would not do that. I will age gracefully.

That's not necessarily true.

There are in fact blood tests to determine biological age (Epigenetic Aging test) that is based on the research of Doctor Steven Horvath (see Horvath clock)

https://www.mydnage.com/

When I first started working with the anti-aging clinic I have worked with since the age of 47 (I'm 60 now) testing had me at an epigenetic age of 45.

Since beginning the program, bi-annual blood work shows that I have slowly reversed my epigenetic age and at 60 my most recent blood work has me at 39 and it is still slowly coming down.

My doc says that based on both this and DNA research into both sides of my family tree that his best current estimate for my lifespan is 130 years.

By the way, working with this sort of clinic is not inexpensive.

I'm spending about $25 to 30K per year on the clinic, bloodwork, supplements and hormone replacement.

All these can help but since using the HGH gel it's dramatic in my life.

An integrative MD I saw in my early 60's t ried to sell me on HGH shots and at the time were $300/mo and he dropped the price to $200/mo but I did NOT do it..

But when my daughter brought this HGH to me and seeing/hearing her results I had to go with the gel.

It's recommended 5 days on 2 days off and in the beginning I did 7 days on and now do it less, at about 2 yr point. Costs about $4/day or so.

Why would you want to stay young and live long in a dense and heavy frequency? The aim of the game of life is to live, learn and gain experience and get the flock out of Dodge to higher levels of consciousness. Not hang around playing in a pile of garbage.

The reason isn't to live longer, but that while you're alive to feel better!.

Leaving here doesn't automatically mean that you graduated. Do you know why you are here now? What are you supposed to do, learn, accomplish here and now?
