Hello hello!

I am a newbie in almost every sense when it comes to every topic on this forum, but I am learning to open my heart and trying to figure out what I need to in order to live my life happily and fully. Something has definitely drawn me here at this time.

"Spirituality" (I hope nobody minds me lumping everything into one term right now) has drawn me in a few times in my life, but I have scoffed, dismissed, and forgotten many things that I really should have paid more attention to instead of looking towards it all with a skeptic's eye. It's a hard thing to acknowledge sometimes since we are all brought up in such a scientific world that doesn't have time to deviate into the alternatives without eyebrows raised.

Thanks for your post. I am new too. I need a place to explore this part of life; I agree that much of this world is too science-oriented and not looking enough at this angle.
