Just read this thread and agree about the paranormal (involving psychic abilities) being distinct from spiritual experiences. However, I will relate my own experience which seems/could be said to include both these elements....i.e. you decide on the category!!
I was heartbroken (over a relationship) and went to an empty church, where I often liked to just sit. (I am not religious). Often there would be an organ playing, rehearsing.
I was glad no one was there (mid afternoon) and cried like I have never, ever cried before....rivers of tears, deepest emotional pain.
After a while I sensed I was not alone. I looked around but saw no one. Gradually I felt a presence of a being very close to me. I could sense the position (to my right) and its height...very tall. I tried to make sense of it and felt frustrated not to be able to directly see it with my normal vision. I didn't understand the experience but began to interpret it as some sort of angel. However, there was no emotion - no comforting, which puzzled me. Just a presence...a very strong presence. It was enough to stop me crying and left me somewhat stunned and blessed. I felt my feelings were acknowledged, that my life/worthiness had been confirmed.

MY accounts you ask.... I didn't know it was mandatory I had to give any!
And they likely wouldn't be as spiritual for someone just reading about them anyway.

Actually it's just that I like to kick a subject around to see how much more we can get from it. I don't look for an argument but I do enjoy an interesting interchange of ideas and views!

The subject seems quite straight forward doesn't it ?
"I am interested in hearing from people that feel they have had genuine spiritual experiences. I will also relate mine in due time. Thanks ahead of time!"
I think the meaning is mainly implied in the second sentence though. " I will relate mine in due time. " So the implication of that sentence is, can you relate your spiritual experiences and I will relate mine... Pretty straight forward I would have thought and a nice topic ...

When I was very young 4 or 5, our family dog, Lady, was hit by a truck and killed instantly. I remember waking up one night after she died and I saw her laying on the rug beside my bed sleeping. She looked solid. Excited to see her, I ran downstairs to tell my parents. They tried to tell me I just dreamt it. I was awake when I saw it. She was there. Since then, I have been visited by some of my pets after they pass.
