What was your technique in learning how to do this, as there are many methods?

Just what is generally adviced: plain background, preferably dark. And I once read something about putting fingertips together, that very slowly move your hands apart. Done with dim light behind you, dark in front. Then you can see the energy flow between the fingertips.
I can indeed see that, and I started seeing it around my hands as well, it was like smoke (the way it moved?) coming of my hands and fingers.

it's really interesting...
when i first tried for 2days i could not able to see anything..even i was not able to concentrate my eyes without blinking for 10sec...but gradually i could :-)
and now i am practicing for further (to see different colour auras)..Hope will see soon.. :-)

I think I can see them. It's like when a person is not in conflict with him or herself. I associate it with emotion, body posture, energy level, and movement. Like a halo around a streetlight at night if your eyes are bleary. I don't know what the physical cause would be. It's also like a time lapse photo if you blink, but rather than creating an afterimage it creates a "forward" image? Like the probability they are to be in a particular location or to have come acronym a particular destination in the span of a moment. It's quite disorienting in a crowd especially when people are moving. Sometimes I get lost in it, but I don't see it constantly. I have to have the right affective/emotional/biological state happens after I go yo the gym for example so I associate it with a release of endorphins or perhaps dopamine or quite honestly the day after recovery from drinking too much.

thank you for sharing your experience. and yes its exactly what u shared is happening... :-)
Now i can see them at any time and in any one/things but only the physical layer which just white coloured smoke type 1-1.5 inch layer.
Can any one share any tips or tricks to see different colour auras :-D

Before i was not able to meditate or concentrate but it helps me to do that much easily...so :-)
