I don't speak in ''I 'AM'' language. I would ask the same if you said Shakti.
Then, I realize How would someone feel negatively about this...being aware of, say, something Divine?

You don't have to answer me if it's a bother, I'll get by :) ---I just do not understand.

No not conscious of divinity. More like conscious that reality is self conscious. It is constantly referring to itself in an 'I Am' kind of way.

When I hear the term I AM I instantly think that it is self conscious and referring to itself....

That helps me ...a little. Thanks, Honza.
Let me dive a bit more to get this, sorry , If I'm being ''too much''.

So, is a tree, grass, the walls in your house referring to It's Self?
So the reality around you, all that you see, is aware of itself, would you say?
(Just making sure I get this).

Just to say, I often am aware of everything around as alive, breathing and conscious -(and wonderful!...
a presence of a consciousness, simple, full of well-being.)
It is comforting to say the least.
(And people could think me nuts, while I could think, ''Aw you don't perceive this? Shame'.'')

Yet - you are not aware of any divinity, do I have that right?
It makes me wonder: then what is this I AM if not the Creator/ God...whatever name.

(Remember I have only seen the covers of these I AM books .)

This is hard talking this way in writing....let me clarify for me...
You are saying yes to:
''So, is a tree, grass, the walls in your house referring to It's Self?
So the reality around you, all that you see, is aware of itself, would you say?
Yet - you are not aware of any divinity...''

You have never ans my questions, third time -Do you see this I AM as God, the Creator - if not, what do you see this I AM AS?
It's like pulling teeth here to get a yes or no.

The Humility, the Pride and the Shame….it really interests me to know the meaning this holds for you…

I read it as a cycle……the loss of humility leads to the rise of the ego and pride….pride gives birth to shame,,,,,hopefully shame will produce humility…..

Stopping the cycle becomes the challenge….

It was taken from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - The Humility, The Pride and The Shame.

Thanks again. :)
Now, I'm going to google the I AM...cuz I had the idea that 'I Am' came from God when he appeared to Moses
and, he asked God His name.
I must be very confused! So thanks.

This is my interpretation of "I am" and "I am who I am":
https://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/s...7&postcount=17
https://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/s...3&postcount=19

From biblehub: Verse 14. - "I AM THAT I AM. No better translation can be given of the Hebrew words. I will be that I will be" (Geddes) is more literal, but less idiomatic, since the Hebrew was the simplest possible form of the verb substantive.

Some people have a tendency to present what they don't understand as something profound ... Then others parrot them, propagating confusion.
