It doesn't much matter what's written in any archaic book. Two millennia on from Biblical times we're living in a world very different from the one then.
It's to be hoped we've moved forward spiritually at least a little. We should question ideas to see if they still ring true. If they do then embrace them. If not.....

It obviously does matter to some otherwise we wouldn't have those who want The Lords Prayer altered and those who don't . If they do alter the wording then they will need to dig very deep into Scriptures and alter other words because they won't make sense anymore.
Where does it end... Jesus used the word 'Father' so that's good enough for me.... Don't try to fix what isn't broken, comes to mind. |

From a distance this has the appearance of attempting to become relevant by focusing on something irrelevant. It simply demonstrates their ineptitude in sharing the expanded meaning of Scripture…..
