Satori

For those who don't know, a Satori is a sudden glimpse of enlightenment, or in other words, a glimpse into your true nature. A Satori can happen at any moment, and it can be either positive or negative. A Satori can also give you insight into another person's inner world. I've had many Satoris over the last several years, some good, some bad, all interesting. One such Satori, happened while I was listening to the Gorillaz song "On Melancholy Hill", and I started crying very genuine tears, which is unusual for me, because I have schizoaffective disorder. I think that crying Satori gave me an insight into my dad's inner world, because I think he struggles with melancholy. I want to be with my dad in the afterlife, so we can hang out and talk about whatever, I mean, we already do that, but perhaps in the afterlife, there would be a deeper connection. He loves me a lot, I know that. He goes out of his way to be there for me.
