from the Webster dictionary:
"Definition of COMPASSION : sympathetic consciousness of others' distress, together with a desire to alleviate it"
There are two parts to this definition... you're warmly drawn to the first part of this definition while there are others here focused on both the first and the later.
We don't want to be using the qualities of compassion in a way that helps to trap another in a most uncomfortable place... |
