I connect with the universal cosmic energy by practicing meditation or even yoga.

I get myself centered by reading inspiring books or literature, listening to relaxing music, searching the web for insightful and knowledgeable material such as articles, interviews of people I admire, or websites that approach these matters in a way that agrees with me and my views. Also connecting with people and talking about uplifting subjects as well as watching documentaries or inspiring videos are some strategies that I use to keep my energy levels high...

Do you have any strategies of your own you'd like to share?

No I can do neither.:) I wanted to know what is 'universal cosmic energy" and how it is experienced? I'm thinking by being 'centered' do you mean focussed?

No problem Manguru, because I reckon if there is a true will inside you to develop that spiritual side, you will be able to if you dedicate it some time and practice!

When I say things like "the universal cosmic energy" I simply mean a higher power, whatever the name you want to call it: God, Mother Earth, Universal intelligence, Divine energy, ...
What I experience when I am connecting to that higher source of energy and power I feel energized, more aware, it feels like a conscious inner tranquility takes over and I am a lot more assertive:)
When I feel centered I do feel more focused, but also all the above, that is when I know I am in my highest Self!

I don't believe in a god, divine energy or anything of the sort but I do believe in humanity. I've been sort of playing the devil's advocate here.
