why are seagulls attacking me?

Hello,

Ive been doing intense self healing. And since a few days crows and seagulls are to extends acting weird. Its as if seagulls are out to get me, but the crows protect me to an extend. It feels crazy....

Can anyone ellaborate on that?

No idea but I have observed this when I lived by the seaside, the last time I saw it I found it hilarious (sorry about that but it was) the huge gull kept swooping at the man's head seemingly digging its talons into his hair then taking off straight away,he kept batting it away as he walked but it persisted, I can't think why it would do that, two funny theories put forward by others is.
1) the gull thought it was a wig and would make an ideal readymade nest.
2)He had a mullet haircut.

That is indeed funny...

I feel birds are very intelligent. Maybe the seagulls think Im different than most people, thus maybe it creates a reaction within them. Much like a lot of the teen boys out here start picking fights with people who look different or for example colored hair. They dont do it for me, but maybe the seagulls get a similar reaction like these boys. Because seagulls might be very aware of energy. But Im currently figuring it out, so just a few thoughts... It stands out tho that the crows act protective, where not so long ago the crows too were quite agressive to me. However I set boundaries for the crows and it wont happen again.

Thoughts: Did you just sit in a kitchen with food cooking?
I'm thinking your not carrying food and your clothes are clean.
Are the crows thinking the seagulls are after food ...so they are pushing them away ?

Seagulls will attack if they have young they are protecting they will just swoop down on you.
Crows follow me around but they are part of my Animal totems

There was a lad at school, a motorbike enthusiast who used to clad himself it a thick expensive denim, he brought his jacket to school one day that had been partially shredded, he was riding his bike along a woodland path and came upon an owls nest in a hole up a tree, he decided to explore it, luckily the owl went for the jacket!

I am literally right next to the sea and we have lots and lots of seagulls . We have never had any problems with them here , but we are only a small town and it is very very clean. Not a scrap of rubbish or a discarded chip in sight. The council do a very good job of keeping the town spotless and the beach is cleaned regularly too with masses of volunteers .

But further along the coast at a very large, very busy seaside resort it's a different story.
The seagulls are a massive problem. You can't sit in peace on a bench to eat fish n chips without they are all around you waiting for scraps, and very often they will swoop down , pinch your fish and be gone before you can blink.
Reminds me of that Hitchcock film "the birds" but with seagulls .

During COVID and lockdown , the wildlife experts were hoping that the seagulls would go back out to sea to scavange for food like they always used to , and probably that's what they did. But they soon came back !!!!!

Seemingly there are odd times when seagulls will indeed attack , as Native said, maybe to protect young.
There have been instances where people in a small town would randomly get attacked and the postmen in one area were actually fearful to do their rounds because of it.

There have also been 2 or three separate reports of large seagulls swooping down and carrying away very small dogs.
