Distant Reiki-More Powerful if Client is Asleep or Awake
I've always wondered if giving distant Reiki is more powerful when the client is asleep or awake?
Does anyone have any scientific knowledge or expert knowledge regarding this?
I know we are all more receptive to things of spiritual natures when we are asleep, so this makes me think that distant Reiki would also be more effective if the client is asleep.
What are your thoughts?

In case anyone was wondering about this, I asked my Reiki master and she said absolutely, it is stronger on the patient when they are asleep. In fact, we are going to tag team my MIL tonight who has pancreatic Stage 4 cancer tonight! I know that she's been doing very well between her chemo, pain mgmt, and Reiki.

hmmm ...this is interesting - I had assumed it would be more energetic if the receiver was to meditate upon it - you know, ask their guides to pull it down to them rather than being completely unaware of it coming in ...but I suppose your guides and higher self are NOT unaware ...I wonder then - to those I send distance Reiki to - should I change the instructions I gave them? Perhaps let them decide either or ...interesting

I tend to have the strongest responses / most positive feedback from people who are asleep. They just seem to be more receptive.

When you are asleep you lower your guards and defenses, and your subconscious takes over. Instead of your conscious mind blocking everything.

I do a lot of Reiki for people all over the world, because of time zone differences I try to arrange a time for then the first time when they are awakr, after this initial one I set it to repeat, each hour on hour for as long as they have need of the healing energy.. I do have a lot of success.. So yes it can be at night.. I find it takes exactly 6 minutes to reach any where in the world.

Just want to mention ...the Reiki I am sending is to family and friends ...I am not prentending to be a practitioner
