Not to say none are trustworthy.

When I read scripture I see Jesus going to nature to communicate
with His Father. He goes on Spiritual missions helping people
and He seems dead set against the organized religion of the day.
I remember reading He would go into the temple setting on major
feasts and stir up the religious leaders and usually had to slip through
crowds to not be stoned. I would run with this kind of person today.

I never read where he says "Okay people lets build a building and
raise a hole bunch of money and make control and money our God.

No! I believe He rested on the basic principle of LOVE.

He'd probably be shouted down as fake news anyway today.

This is so interesting, Molearner. Do you have any (further) words on this you can share?

Well, years ago the church used to sell indulgences, so it seems to me they are just modernizing. You could set it up so you could just put your coins in the slot, walk though the turnstile, and enter the gateway to the forgiveness of sin. Cool, it's like a salvation vending machine, you could even use apple or android pay. Set them up at the back door to the bars and brothels and it would be like you have a cover charge to get in the front door, and a cover charge to get out the back way with your soul intact, avoiding the judgment of both God and that nosey Ned Flanders at the same time. It's generous really.

Blasphemy. Jesus was like Schindler from WW2. Would redeem every soul.
As for the last temptation of Christ. It is a deep subject

BLASPHEMY!

Who would ever accuse a ketzer of blasphemy, its unheard of!

Yes, although what is considered deep depends on the substance one is wading through, it is true that there are a lot of subjects discussed on these forums that get deep. Some perhaps even unfathomable.

Kinda scary for some I suppose.

Perhaps then it is best if they stay in the shallows.
