Have you seen your higher version of yourself? Not the Higher Self, but the You with a higher consciousness knowing fully why you came on Earth and so on. When you have an OBE, you keep your human consciousness but there's also a more evolved consciousness that you also have, it is the You who has planeed this Earthly life.

I've seen myself talking with other beings in a cosmic place.. we were talking about my planned earthly life... Today while in a very deep state of relaxation, I heard myself talking with another being, that being told my higher I that in 30 seconds the physical body is going to wake up and so I woke up. Right before falling in that deep state of relaxation my whole body was electrocuted and I had this strange sensation that I am falling out of my body.

All I say here comes from direct experience, from witnessing that higher consciousness I, witnessing myself doing things and talking with other beings in these cosmic places.

Unity with the light in a higher dimension beyond form - NICE!

We will have to double-check on the idea of having multiple I's, because maybe is not true.

Maybe is just 1 "I" at the present moment with a lack of memory.

This other beings could be just individual helpers, with their own awareness and mind.

Even before that your consciousness ceases to function. It is possible to come back from lack of consciousness on your 'own' but lack of self is nearly impossible.

As a partial work around, you can project your awareness closer (than consciousness) to Unity before it too ceases to function.

Consciousness is truly immortal. It doesn't matter if you unified yourself with the light or the void. There are zero dangers on that.

'Self' is merely a construct and has no actuality to it. As in incarnate, that construct has its uses occasionally.

There is a lot of 'stuff' between 'self' and 'unity' that can be experienced.

I agree that consciousness has no particular end (is effectively immortal). However, that does not mean it will always be. Any thing that is created can be uncreated.

Most of those advanced on the 'spiritual path' come to realize there is no self, never was. There is nothing to lose. With that realization comes great freedom and peacefulness.

Yes, there is only one "I" and this "I" plays at different levels of consciousness, while in the body, it's human consciousness, while the body is sleeping, higher consciousness. When you have an OBE, you usually keep your human consciousness, I experienced states of higher consciousness and I was shown myself at that higher level of consciousness.

Yes or just projections from within.

Yes, it's a construct, like a castle made out of sand, it appears to be something solid but it is not.

Sure there is and many layers of consciousness, higher or lower.

That I know, my friend, but there is a void that usually appears when one is close to death, at least this is how I got there. There is also a powerful sensation of fading out of existence and one naturally starts fighting back but it's like being stuck in a quicksand, the more you struggle to get out, the harder it gets. I experienced this, letting go seems to be the key but letting go, from studying the NDEs means going into higher planes of existence and not coming back unless you are sent back. I, myself have fought really really hard to come back and I've made it every time.

About that void, yes, I call it the "mental plane", you can create whatever you want there and even listen music that you listen on Earth, I did this quite a few times.
