I hope this isn’t overstepping the mark but from previous posts, I can see what Horace has said seems very accurate indeed.

Sometimes we are bound by obligations, family ties etc and it can get too much, sometimes we need to realise that taking a step back is needed, we can’t let others control our lives no matter how much we love them, we have lives to live too. If we continue to take on too much it isn’t good; and if circumstances aren’t likely to change soon, we need to find a way where we can find some balance.

We don’t have to walk away from people to do this, it’s just about taking more time for ourselves, maybe standing up to people a bit, or getting other people to help too, so that we aren’t carrying all the weight ourselves.
