A pendulum to communicate with the dead
Hello, everyone I hope everyone is doing well. I have a question about communicating with the Dead. I don't know if I'm in the right chat room. Please let me know if I'm in the wrong chat and what chat room I need to be in. My cousin committed suicide this past Monday Memorial Day. He was my favorite cousin and I miss him very much. Can someone use a pendulum necklace to communicate with the dead? I don't have a pendulum, but I used a rose quartz crystal on a string to communicate to him which I got some some good yes and no questions. Is this a good way to communicate with the dead? I just want to tell him how much I love him, and he was my favorite cousin so much.

Sorry for your loss.
I don't use a pendulum, but as far as I know, it is one method of contacting your subconscious, which in turn can contact non-physical entities, including people who passed. If you're just starting using a pendulum, or any other way of contacting your subconscious (prayer, meditation, self-hypnosis, ...), you'll improve with practice. You have to be aware that your beliefs, expectations, thoughts, emotions distort the messages you receive. Whenever you contact your subconscious you have to deliberately leave aside all those distorting influences.
