today it was refried beans heated up with franks hot sauce topped with shredded organic green cabbage and thousand island dressing.

I had some leftover pork (from a roasted joint). Always dull cold but I jazzed it up....a lot! I sliced it thinly then mixed it into the small amount of jellied juice (to impart more flavour) that had toasted, crushed fennel seeds in it.
I ate the slices in warmed greek-style flatbread that was spread with 2 different pastes; half with cavolo nero pesto (home made) and the other half with home made harissa. I made a side salad of red cabbage, celery, carrot, apple, grape and a little cherry juice. Good combo!

... I had a seafood salad..
... All the usual bog standard salad , topped with fresh prawn mayo... Crab sticks ... Roast salmon cooked with lemon and dill .. and king prawns in batter cooked in oven.
... Was tasty !!! |
