I am thinking about Easter and where we are at today and where we were a year ago around the same time. What has changed, on some levels not very much what we might have thought was a "seasonal virus" is still very much with us. The World is still much on that state of lock down or large slow down. Yes we have a vaccine now, but we are struggling to get it out there. Here in Canada the roll out is slow, and while we claim to be a "developed country" we are far behind many.

I look to Easter last year we were on "Lock Down" and it was just those in your household for dinner, this year it is the same here again, while we are not locked in, we are asked to not visit outside our family home body. While retail is still open we are asked to restrict out travels. We are sanitized and masked up, and now there is warnings about toxins in sanitizers and masks we are using.

Where is it all going to end.....is where I sit and ponder. We shut down and open up and shut down and hold onto hope that our business will live on.

I am drawn here to the Titanic and how the classes on the ship were separated and how those were the one's that got onto the lifeboats and to safety. How they were blessed to maybe survive while the rest just accepted death was their path.

This Easter Sunday does not feel like a day of celebration more it feels like a holding pattern day. Where I live we have come full circle again and most likely are heading back to "lock down". So I hope that the year going forwards from now holds better.

Easter Sunday I am blessed to have my family all under the same roof. I am blessed I do not have to break the rules to have family around. I hope that others are not selfish in travel. but I know well the hotels here are FULL.

Blessed that the only meal we have is Turkey or Ham and not Covid 19 as a side dish served up.

I might seem a bit grim, more its frustrations with the many that do not seem to care about the few. The World is in this event time we see that more clear.
