Gorgeous picture..... I'm absolutely Certain I was dreaming about Africa last night ...but it won't come to the forefront of my mind.... But something might trigger the recollection.

When they eventually moved me into a ward with 3 other ladies, the lady in the next bed was lovely. She had married a Kenyan man, and had lived in Nairobi for several years. It was fascinating hearing all about how she lived, and the way of life over there. Completely different world .

LOL... Love the twilight zone intro.... Yes it was all a bit strange... We had so much in common when it turned out... Dame allergies, even hooked up to 8 hour drips at exactly the same time !!.... We keep in touch.... It was lovely though, she showed lots of lovely photos of Africa and her and hubby and their home there. Lovely pics... She loved all the little children, and if she had enough money, go back and build an orphanage .. don't know if she achieve that this time round... 10 years older than me, and in oxygen at home too. But lovely to get to know her...

Sorry, correction noted. I was thinking in terms of a region in Africa but you are right my question was intended to be a generalization. Correction troll!!

First, indirect contact I had with Africa, was with Idi Amin, the Butcher of Uganda.
One day I went to the airport. One side was domestic and the other side was International. I was going to the domestic but that part of the airport was closed. What I got to see was Idi Amin's famous white convertible being loaded in to the back end of a cargo plane.

Why I went to the airport was one guy wanted me to help him fly a dual engine cargo plane..... which sounded good till I found out he was charging the fuel to my account!
