God has a purpose to give us our marriage partners. But it has become so hard in our 21st century when searching for the right one. You can use the following Bible verses to pray for the right partner if you are single.

1. "Every*good*gift*and every perfect*gift*is from*above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow." — James 1:17

2 "Haven’t you read,”*he replied,*“that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’*and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?**So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” – Matthew 19:4-6

3. "The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” – Genesis 2:18

4. "Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” – Psalm 37:4
