The wonders of garlic
A couple of months ago I had an infection that originated in the ear but began to affect my lower jaw. I simply crushed a clove of garlic and added three pinches of sea salt, about a tea spoon of rosemary and some hot chilli flakes into boiling water. I let the brew steep until it was cool enough to drink, 10-15min. Strained all the chunks out gargled then drank. Did this over 3 days. the infection was gone.

I make my own cough syrup.
1 jar of honey.
1 red onion sliced.
1 tablespoon of brown sugar.
3 cloves of garlic crushed.
Place it all in a bowl, stir well and cover and put in the fridge overnight. Next day strain it all and place the mixture in a bottle, take a spoonful 3-4 times a day until cough subsides.
I have also been given some wild garlic in a pot to grow and try out.

Another version I use is a clove of garlic, a couple of pinches of sea salt, rosemary, a sprinkle of hot chilli and some honey (Manuka is the, but it is very expensive. I steep it in boiling water until cool enough to drink. Then strain, gargle & drink. done 3x a day for 3 days. Viola, the cold is gone.

Awesome. I'm fond of oil of oregano for infections. I keep a small lip gloss size container with ichthammol ointment aka black drawing salve and oregano oil for external skin infections.
