They do seem to fit an occasion!
And usually they make me smile. Though I came to know the Beatles, through the BeeGee’s movie, “Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band” So, silly I know... but...

ImthatIm and Sentient,
I have been thinking about global Native music and their vibrations do you think experiencing the music live is when we truly feel it? Like the vocal tones, drums and instruments? Do you think that is part of the spiritual experience?
I feel something deeper when I listen to it, that seems like a core resonation, like a beginning of time. I am not sure I can explain it clearly.

I believe that.
But then sometimes a recording can it too. I think like the universe provides
when the need does arise.
1 thing I do is listen to music thru good headphones or My home stereo
to vibrate thoroughly. I like to literally feel the music at times.
But definitely when real people are present you feel that energy.
Now with ceremony songs that are ancient, that are so familiar they are
apart of me, I feel that everyone who has ever sung that song are stilling singing
it in Spirit or it is still reverberating through time and that kind of connection is made
where it feels as if it is converging in your Spirit too.
I hope I said that clear. Hard stuff to explain.

I use a lot of youtube to sort of fill in on some things I long for.
I realize things are hard to put into words, but I have to say that
your writings in the little blue cabin thread absorb my time and space into them.
I don't know how it is done, but I know you have a gift for it.
There has been times reading your writings and all I can ask is
"How'd she do that?" Like it was some sort of beautiful sunset or staring at the Morning star.
You seem to be able to fit a whole world into one sentence at times and I feel
Blessed and it is Hozho.

I think the best part of live indigenous music is that it is a community event.
Nobody can put up on airs when everybody’s grandmother and dog is present.
Everybody feels so “One”, yet to say that sounds like putting on airs … like turning it into some “thing” …
*
Then people do carry their cultural land connection in their ‘aura’.
Like, this is a while ago. Walking down a street – from a distance I could start to sense and feel it – this person coming towards me is from Northern Territory, and I said so, when he got close.
You’re from Northern Territory!
Good to see you!
Hugs, hugs – more hugs …. & I was like transported into the desert (in my mind and in my feeling) there and then.
Then he told me where he is from, such and such river and with no shame started to sing out loud his songline song on the street, which brought chills to my spine. (A specific "thing" song).
*
With music I go through phases.
In the community I lived in, we had/have a lot of Reggae – a reggae phase.
Then when I needed to go back to ‘my roots’ – for some reason an Amerind friend appeared & I went through a Amerind music (I could ‘shamanic journey’ to) phase.
Quoting ImthatIm: “I think like the universe provides when the need does arise”.
Then when I got into DNA-projects, I discovered Turanic - Siberian and Mongolian music, and I am still not quite out of it as yet.

^ The last one, being so dramatic kinda brings me to the new Samoan metal and Maori music.

After all – where I live Pacific Islanders and Maoris are present.
I know how to raise “Windhorse” – they know how to raise “Mana”.
