dreams of ex friend

In real life, this ex-friend was very codependent. She wanted friends who were "lower" than her so she could feel important by "raising them up" while also being a mom figure. If these friends rejected this, or lifted their own selves up, she deserted them. I am not the only person she tried this with, and I did not let her do it.

In the dreams, I tell her what was wrong with the relationship, and why I was not friends with her anymore. She would say, ok, we're good now, right? I was like sure, if you want to think so, I don't hold a grudge. She'd then try to hang out with me or hug me, and I wouldn't let her.

She pops up now and again in dreams, but this was the first time where I directly interacted with her.
