Summerlander (the dude posting in this thread too) wrote a really good article on it over on the Astral Viewers forum. He allowed me to link it to my website.

should i try phasing just when i am sleeping.......?
is it the best time......?
and is metal rundown like visualization......?

You can try at any time.
I suggest trying first thing in the morning, as I've had my greatest success around that time. Get up for a few minutes... splash some water on your face, do your bathroom stuff... then go back into bed and begin practicing. :)

As to your first two questions: I do my phasing whenever I have the time. Mostly just before I go to bed at night. Night time has its advantage where your sight could be better when its dark seeking out dark objects but daytime could be similarly advantangeous because you are more alert in the waking hours and less likely to fall immediately into the dream state (my experience only). I read once that Robert Bruce has commented that some people have better OBE (somewhat related to what we are doing in this topic) sessions in the daytime because 'its not so scary'!
I am now appending to my routine using the hemi-synch sound files so I did that about an hour before I went to bed.

when l was young l could,o.b.e while relexig l would start to get this feeling which would would start in the middle of my fore head and work its way round the rest if my head and body,and in my mind l could see the room l was in and what was happening.
this gift left me when l hit my teens,am now in my 30,s and am trying to rediscover this again l can get the feeling to start in my fore head but thats it,am also dreaming things that always happen and l can also predict when or who am gonna bump into.it will take time for me to work on this
