the feeling fall gives you.. explanation?

fall always gives me the feeling that something is going on. something important is happening. usually on a higher level that i cant put my finger on.
all i can think to describe it is... when im outside in the fall air, my mind starts buzzing. the air envelops me, makes me feel so comfortable and serene just being outside. no other season really does anything like that for me.

During Autumn everything is wilting, preparing itself for the winter and then to renew and re-grow afterwards. Its an important time physically and spiritually, before something new and positive can come about there needs to be room for growth.

Also nothing is more comforting than to walk through crisp leaves and enjoy all of the beautiful colours that nature provides

It's the cycle of life! Regeneration.

There are direct parallels with the human soul in all the seasons. Life gives way, not to death and decay, but to a continuation of life in a new guise.

Autumn is my favourite season by far. Crisp air and warm home, makes ya wanna snuggle, y'know? Things are just mellower, not so frenzied.

I agree, I feel different during fall as well. I love the smell and the feel of it. I love the beauty. It excites me, and yes, makes me feel like snuggling, taking things slower and being comfortable.

Autumn was my favourite in Ontario as there are rainbows of colour in the trees, but in BC, at least in the rockies, it is mostly pines, so i miss my maple trees,( so i prefer winter out here). However, i still love the crisp, cool air, the smell of burning leaves, the sun setting earlier with that golden hue,... I feel more alive in autumn, i love the cold and despise the heat so i can't wait for summer to be over as it has been dreadfully hot this year. (although i miss the summer creatures that go away in winter)...

My favourite season! (Well I like all of them,) but Autumn does feel special in a mysterious way. And for me, things often begin in the Autumn, new projects, new things. Nearly every year something happens around the Autumn Equinox.

Autumn has always been special to me and I'm looking forward to this one very much. Quiet contemplation begins to describe it for me.

Solace, I'm also from Ontario and now live in B.C. and have to agree with you. I also prefer cooler weather, I hated the heat wave we just went through.
