Meister Eckhart Quotes.

If you focus to narrowly on a single path to God, all you will ever find is the path.

Nothing in all creation is so like God as stillness.

One must not always think so much about what one should do, but rather what one should be. Our works do not ennoble us; but we must ennoble our works.

The price of inaction is far greater than the cost of making a mistake.

I'd say that it depends ... and many examples come to my mind.

Happiness is the result of an enlightened mind whereas suffering is caused by a distorted mind.

In the recent days, there were some crazy people who made the news. Their inaction would've been a blessing.

Ha, I have 3 of his quotes I keep folded in my wallet...in case I forgot a book at the DMV...I'll always have those.
He means a lot to me...as all the Mystics from all cultures do.
He, because he promoted a direct intimate exp with God...
and thus, was persecuted by the Roman Catholic Church...for those that don't know his history.

Wonder if you could ask a moderator to correct his name ..he deserves that.
Meister Eckhart
I believe the op has to ask them or I would to save you the effort.

I was so happy to see a quote thread for him.Yay!

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
