Stop and stare
When spirit came and motioned me
Into a world I couldn't see
I sensed, I knew, yet the vision shown
Never fully coming home
During times of eyes on me
I thought that death would end this sea
Of eyes outside, my own could feel
Sense and believe this was surreal
When spirit eyes as one become
A sea of fear, your gloom as one
Death arises, looking in
If looks could kill, then I cannot win
The ever present movie scene
Of a thousand faces that would gleem
In ways to show me my own eyes
Seeing clearly the hidden divide
Of all mankind in me as one
This the journey was no fun
Millions of intricate embattled signs
Merging, entering into my divine
Awash with arms of broken vows
The eyes they formed my spirit now
Speaking to me silently
The eyes of soul I now can see
This living realm of everything
Where all of life brings me to begin
Begin to see through eyes of love
When fears in eyes have no dove
Have no light, just stop and stare
The hidden world beyond repair.
