I know, right? It's just missing the mark...we veer, we blunder, we trip, we make the wrong or
stupid choices, we learn... on our Journey Home. IMO.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Such a perfect answer for me. I think we don't forget because if we did the question couldn't be asked. I have never forgotten even now. We don't forget but the mind can do only one thing at a time. It is linear thinking and it is thinking that must change. Remembering did not allow it. As we became aware awareness opens the minds eye that so much is like a new way. I remember this the most about the process in awareness. Seeing so much becoming attuned to it that is (new) opening a person that they manifest, you realize you still know. You still see everything around that. Give that up. It isn't forgetting but the mind stills wants what it can't forget and there is conflict, remembering can be the conflict. It may be it didn't change. The mind becomes preoccupied with new things awareness is teaching but remembering. Knowledge will align with experience as awareness opens the eyes in time. It's about thinking in new ways.

Not forgetting was the biggest problem I found, it was the barrier. There is a reason the mind suppresses thought.

yeah, it is very true that the concepts one holds dear prevent one from seeing certain things. In a sense, each treasured thought affects you in ways you don't even know about because you are so used to seeing certain scenery that you won't allow other places in to be able to know there is something else.

Anyway, forgetting can be nice, as can not knowing the things one is 'supposed' to know. But I take caution here because I am always taking things to an extreme, and that in itself is yet another thing that prevents one from seeing... yet even harder than forgetting or not knowing in the first place, is that it it is very hard to allow one self to forget at one time and remember at another, or to not know things one day but to be full of knowledge the next. Personally I think it is only because others would label such 'inconsistent' behaviors badly, and noone wants to be labeled badly by the others.

Fascinating...can you expound on this more...I like it!!
This reminds me of the way CS Lewis and Lewis Carroll's minds work.
Right brainers, like me.
(Narnia and Alice in Wonderland, brilliant works!)
